I though that pre-Searing was all that Guild Wars had.
I was quite happy with just pre-Searing. by the way.

But that was only during the first week.

Then I walked into Old Ascalon... and deleted the character and made another one in pre-Searing, XDDDD.

The impact of looking at such a horrible landscape was too much, XD.

i logged onto Guru, and read a thread where JR said healing breeze was bad. i logged into the game, promptly took healing breeze off of my presearing monk/warrior, went into the catacombs, and died repeatedly.

my conclusion at the time: JR doesn't know what he's talking about.

Well when i was a newbie (as a ele) i said ''omg i wanna dominate the 4 elements yay!!'' so whidout thinking i put stats on fire, water, air and eath but i didn't put any point to energy storage.
So then doing some missions with henchies i wondered why did i always made so little damage and my energy got out very fast.
And also i didnt know that i could change my attibutes how ever i wanted so i though that i permanently screwed it up and it was gonna be imposible to advance until i bought factions and created a character there, did the tutorial and when i saw that attribute thing... omg...

Thought I could have 2 Elites and I remember saying it in Ember Light Camp on my monk after a skill cap run + I had captured many elites before that.

Bought a piece of 15K armor (chest piece), dyed black when it was expensive, not getting the rest of it and salvaged it months later.

remake my 15k Hydromancer armor after they change from AR: 60 +15 vs Cold to AR: 60 +10 vs Ele +10 vs Cold and few days later new patch change old armor to new mods >.<

merchant all green wands with +3^50 and buy Amulet of the Mist to exchange to the new one with +5^50 and same story few days later new patch .....

Well this topic appears to be from when you were a noob but i think even now we make noobie mistakes...

Example:

I was never into farming in my whole time of playing Guild Wars, then one day i decided to try it. The thing is i started farming after the nerf and loot scaling.... >_<

(started farming like a month ago)

I realized that i could actually identify items and salvage stuff, when i was playing Hells Precipice! (Was long into the game there ^^)

I thought all along that unidentified just meant that it was úber cool and rare!

Not getting a run to Lions arch was probably the dumbest thing.

I could never get out of the shiver peaks, it was like a maze I always ended up in circles and when I did get somewhere, I had to log out...forgot where I went and went in circles all over again.

Not to mention putting the skills

Animate minions, charm animal, animate vampiric horror, vampiric gaze, debilitating shot whirling defense and ressurection signet on my bar >.>

Noobiest thing I ever did was make and play my first character XD

She was a ranger with too few points in expertise and a bar filled with 10 energy skills + fire storm. A friend helped me get from Ascalon to Kryta, but sadly he was just as noob as I was. When we got to Yak's Bend we never noticed that from there on out the party size went up to 6, so up until Lion's Arch we just kept using Little Thom and Alesia and we kept wondering why all of a sudden the game had gotten so dang hard, I mean really...took us ages to get to LA

Still those were the days, those were the days...
